Terrible blonde moment occured at the toilet of Tanjon beach. Oi and I had gone in to the makeshift toilet, and I was complaining how dark and dingy it looked and even went to check that all the lights were turned on. Oi was completely baffled at my behaviour, until she realized something. I HAD MY SHADES ON! Now we know what kind of students are churned out from the singapore education system. Well done. I'd give myself another pat on the back for my ingenuity if I wasn't burnt.

Kristmas with Kahyin! (alliteration is just irressitable haha). It was just insufferably hot in my house and all I did was sleep so I left early to wait for her to knock off. Dinner at nydc, tourist photos with the grand christmas concert at orchard (which was not grand or christmassy) and a nice big tub of dark chocolate ice cream made it a marvelous night!

My horoscope widget is astoundingly accurate. It says that my social life is not going as I hoped and i need to be the organizer if I want any party to go on. How terrifyingly true.

Xmas eve at huey's was pretty fun with pizza christmas movies and just hanging out at holland v. I was kinda tired from waking up at the crack of dawn (that's before eleven in the morning in xac talk), so I didn't feel like going to countdown with alex. I'm sorry dear but the home hermit in me just took over. Plus I was immensely, terribly, destitutely poor---until my mum suddenly handed me some money my aunt gave for xmas. Dammit. Tmr will be a festive day. I hope.

I think I have a very unhealthy reliance on coke light. Without my usual dosage of big gulp, I get cranky and crabby and it's absolutely not pretty. This only occurs when I am required to function before eleven in the morning. It could be the fizz that make me bubble, curing my morning grouchiness, or the sugar rush from artificial sweeteners in it. Whatever it is, it works terribly well.

Watched Rape of Nanking with Ky today! Am I glad to finally watch a movie after so long, and it was worth all the ten bucks. The film was shot in a sort of documentary- renactment way, with black and white clips and photos, interviews from survivors and some actors who played these group of westerners that savved the lives of 250 000 people by intervening the Japanese attacks and forming an unofficial neutral zone. Yes, I did cry. It is hard not to, as you watch the old man tear as he recounts his mother being bayoneted, and his baby brother skewered from the buttocks by a Japanese soldier when he was 7 years old. And how he had to watch his baby brother struggle back to his dying mother who continued to breast feed him even if it meant aggravating her wound( the baby was suckling on the wound itself too). There were many videos and photos or horrendous injuries, bayonet stabs, chunks of elbows and necks cut off, faces burnt and blackened yet the person very much alive in agony. It really is a very impactful image.

However, I was slightly peeved at the main gist of the story, which was about this group of foreigners who saved many Chinese. I do commend their immense courage and how noble they were to risk their lives, however, it gave me a sense of superiority. A feeling that, are we Asians really incapable of surviving without out Caucasian counterparts? I suppose the point of the film was not to propagate white superiority but to commend how an outsider could risk their lives for another, how racism is plainly ludacrious. Yet, I came a way feeling slightly indignant. Perhaps they should have shown some Chinese actually helping their own kind too, or that certain japanese general (whose name I just cannot remember) who helped many of the citizens in Nanking escape. Perhaps I am just thinking too much, perhaps I should take the filmmakers altruistic aims as the truth and not let the cynic in me take over.

I am positively tired! Completely exhausted, drained, lethargic, bushed, and whatever other euphemism there is! Yesterday, right after work (which was mainly just folding clothes for nine hours), I went over to Fel's place to pick up the clothes I shipped over to her apartment in the states, and to raid her fridge too. Omg, the little cookies that looked disturbingly like kibble which her sister brought back from Amsterdam was so addicitive and polished off the whole thing, to which her sister brought out another bag but Fel wouldn't let me touch it anymore. Hmph. You should seriously pick up hosting skills from your sister sev! Grabbed a bunch of books for me to embark on my plan to sit at starbucks and read like an artsy fart before I left, not before I attacked her potong icecream and other chocolates and goodies f course! When Fel's around, I never have to worry about dinner anymore.

Alex rang me up as I left fel's house (the motherload of goodies), and dragged me out to drink her sorrows away. When I got home, I managed to catch some sleep before meeting nik to scour chinatown for cheap stuff! I swear, I bet audrey gets ALL her stuff from that place. Anyway, we got really tired from walking round and round in circles just trying to find this buttons shop! We did manage to find it in the end and nik got her buckle and elastics but apparently its the wrong one or something. Anyhoo, I'm still dead fascinated that the uncle used the yellow pages to wrap up the stuff.

By the way, anyone wants to watch the rape of nanking with me? I have no one to watch the movies with, what a sad life. Boo.

I've seen lovers dancing in the dark

Work was so exhausting yesterday due to the staff sale, that ky and I ended up forgoing our sushi buffet date today as we just could not wrench ourselves out of bed! I pulled a Rip Van Winkle today, sleeping my day away, albeit fitfully, periodically falling asleep while reading. Nevertheless, I slept as much as it rained today, and boy, is the world drowning. I suppose the sudden surge of repose came to a shock to my body as my head is spinning, even as I read or lay day with my eyes closed. I can see the room spinning, passed the fixated words on the page. Certainly hping this would pass.

I have alot of things to accomplish this weekend.
1) To finish reading Dracula, which to my surprise, is as thick as the moonstone! It was probably the lack of a book cover ( yes my brother had managed to rip out both front and back covers of the book), that lead to this illusion of the book being a thin and fast read.
2) Finish up my story for the creative writing application! I was on a roll the night before, bt just had to force myself to resume another day as I required an early night for a long day of work the next. Right now, my head is in a whirl, unable to generate proper sentences (not the jumble of words that try to pass off as one mind you). I hope tomorrow will be a better day. Afterall, it is Sunday!

Milkshake party at mos last night. It's been possibly AGES since Ive been out at night to a club, like seriously. The queue was completely insane, but fortunately the bouncer brought our group to the side door and we felt really special. Haha! We had the most eclectic group of people, me leo andy and steph. Picnic party with the crescent fass girls today! At the start of the day, everything was screwing up, so I had this foreboding feeling of how things would turn out! Some of them didn't receive the invite, and I blame singpost. Honestly, nik sent them out on monday and two days later they still haven't arrived!Plus, today I left home late, so was in a great fluster and forgot a bunch of stuff. Hence, nikki had to bring them for me. I went to popular to get the nametags and then forum to get my pinata, only to find out they were the type where you pull the string to release the trapdoor and not whack it. While waiting for the rest, the rain drizzled light, then stopped and resumed with a heavier vengence, then lightened again. The weather was so unfathomable, and everyone was late as nik & eeli were at the other side of the park, aud had a busted tire, germs was searching for a way, zi was waiting for the bus which refused to come, lilian was waiting for deb and grace is normally late. When we finally arrived at botanics, each of us were at different parts of it and we spent like half an hour searching for the bandstand where nik & eeli were!

this is lilian's birthday cake btw. we didn't have candles so we had to use sugar biscuits and fashion it into a 19!

Thankfully, everything was great after that. Everyone(well, almost everyone), followed our theme in which you had to dress up in the colours of your favourite candy! And the food was great, and NIKKI YOUR FUSION WANTON QUICHES ARE KEWL OKAY (now I have redeemed myself haha). After our picnic (and playing with my pinata!), we squeezed into deb's car to get free coffee at starbucks thanks to some xmas special, then off to cruise down orchard road to check out the xmas decorations and lights which were quite pretty this year!

All in all, the gathering was really good and I hope everyone had a great time! Next up, xmas party! Ready to plan another event, mizz nikki?

Okay bandages are off! I'm really glad heike and the tattoo artist, alecs, convinced me to not get the heartagram cuz it's too big and masculine looking. Actually, I had just cme acroos this symbol in the morning and was really taken by it. It's a sankofa, an african symbol which represents to make positive progress through the benevolent use of knowledge. Basically just taking the good things of the past and move ahead in life, something I really need as I dwell in the past a bit too much it's unhealthy. And yes, for all those wondering, it did hurt like a bitch. As much as getting your brows done. I swear.

Last paper today!!! It's been a torturously slow week and it's finally coming to an end! I'm sorry if I sound like an ass to all those who have yet to comeplete their exams and I wish you all the very best, but let me savour this joyous occasion!

I was in quite a panic early this morning as you all know, I hardly studied at all! I had promised myself I would start studying on thurday, and ended up watching the hills. Then I swore I would commence on friday and once again, I found myself hooked on heroes. Come this morning, I was in a major panic and frantically perusing through my scribbled summarised notes, that were a bit too abridged that I hardly understood it! Deb was saying "Xiaoan is always like that, always stressing cuz she never studies." I suppose it's true, as I recall the O level and prelims for A level periods, which is not exactly a good sign! Thank god the last minute revision came in slightly handed and I'm grateful I did not waste my time memorizing a bunch of mambo jumbo for the exams which I did not use at all!

Nat had to cancel on our tattoo date as her cousin got knocked down, so I'm going on wednesday with Heike instead! Excited excited. Luckily Alex was there to save the day, and come out to hang with me. Listening to her life in ntu (which sounds very the hills/gossip girl btw), makes me grateful that I'm out of the sorority high school hierarchy social life. Honestly. I have no idea what is going on in uni, and I doubt I or anyone else cares at all. Ignorance is bliss, I definetly concur. Looking forward to the next week! excited excited.

Two papers and I feel like it's the end of the world already. Honestly, the conditioning of paper chase is highly unhealthy for a young growing individual like me. I'm sorry, it's the aftermath of brain drainage. Anyhoo, thai was quite alright. It wasn't terrible awful, neither was it very easy either. I can't say it is doable as I really don't want to rest my laurels just yet. In one question, we had to make a sentence using two words, yen and khcc. For some inane reason, I just could not for the love of god recall what khcc meant! So what did I write?

European history was terribly awful. All the ones I had been banking on did not come out, and instead, it had to be some weird mambo jumbo that I could hardly think of points to answer! My essay lacked argument and analysis. Merely listing? It was more like randomly spewing out facts. Halfway through, my brain decided to abandon me and take a trip to mars, hence I was left stoning for a full fifteen minutes! I kid you not. A complete loss of track of my essay towards the end, it was like Hitler's turning point at the Battle of Stalingrad. Everything went spiraling downwards uncontrollably from then on. I had desperately hoped that this exam would pull me through the module. I guess a jumble of words thats disguising itself as an essay won't bring me such luck huh.

I woke up at the crack of dawn today, which is an immensely impossible feat for me, honestly. Okay, so 830am is not exactly the time the cock crows, but still! Only Australians, farmers, audrey and nikki are up and about at that time. Anyhoo, I was off to school to study, i.e. rewatch my film texts which I did not complete since I realized that there was nothing stylistically significant about the movie. Sociology review tutorial was a bore, but I'm really happy about my midterm assignment grade :).

The exams are but five days away.
Am I prepared for it? No, unfortunately not.
Do I anticipate it? Yes, I do since I was privy to the foreknowledge of it.
Did I study for it? Yes, I did. I truly am. But sometimes, it takes more than just scouring through your textbook and trying to transfuse the knowledge to do well for the exams.

The Great War was expected to end by Christmas of 1914, a lovely gift from Santa would it not be? My mind is ague with delirium and my thoughts are restless. A simple task of sitting at the table and transferring words from page to brain has turned into a tumultous task. At times, I wonder if it would be better if I was smarter. But then again, what are smarts without an appropriate attention span? What are brains if I can't even sit still and absorb the information without having to walk to the kitchen after reading just a single line?

Tv dinners are silent killers, just like smoking is. They erode your body and melt your brains, just like how smoke and tar would inundate your lungs and fester the little growths that look like cauliflowers. A frozen lasagne dances in the microwave, the oven chimes as your dinner comprising of leftovers have heated up. Onions and rice. Bubbling cheese in a black box, a lava of tomato sauce spills. Ambrosia.

It's so amazing how much your own mother can surprise you with their rocketing improvement in their dexterity with text messages. From perpectually typing in capital letters, to weird spellings like "clavar mather", it has finally reached the day where I received a fully comprehensible text, with little quirks in it to add.

Alrighty, I just got back from the exhibition. It was kind of boring, very much small talk and sipping wine. There were a few interesting characters there though, like I saw Dr Woffles Wu! hahah, and honestly I think he did some work on himself. Met this guy who was the ex-ceo of some big advertising company in asia and has now retired to do some screen writing for a movie he's planning to make.

My uncle was really funny cuz he was supposed to help my bro do some networking with a few big shot bankers, and all he did was take my brother over, introduced him and ran away, eaving my poor old bro stranded there! And I just found out he was the previous owner of the grinning gecko, yep the very one at central library. He was like "Back in my day it was very happening, but after those guys took over..." when I told him I hardly ate there. Hence, he was immensely pleased when I told him it's kinda dead now.

Sorry for the lack of pictures, but I always felt awkward whipping out my camera for no reason. Maybe i'll put some up when the photos are sent over. Two more exhibitions on sunday! One is my mum's friend's, about ceramics, and the other is andy warhol. Sure is a rush against time.

To sleep is to dream.

I really need to start trying to wake up earlier. I had to dragged myself out of bed to go for soiology lecture (I went to bed at like 4 am cuz I was reading my Sandman comic, so much for being a mugger!), half contemplating if it was really worth it or not. Turns out, it really wasn't at all! The whole thing ended in like an hour, in which most of it was spent talking with zi hua.

Interesting moments of the day:
1) Sat with the swedish guy from soci class on the shuttle bus and found out his dad is a director (short films and tv) who is trying to earn enough money to make a feature film, HOW AWESOME IS THAT! Ups his cool factor!
2) We uncovered one mystery of soci class, the guy that never opens his mouth is local. Now, if we could only unravel the mystery of whether the swede really only has three sets of clothes in his wardrobe!
3) Okay, this isn't really an interesting moment but WHY DOES EVERYONE WHO HEARS I WANT TO DO FILM STUDIES THINK IM GONNA BE A DIRECTOR?!? I would rather much be on the final end of the creative process thank you very much. I watch films, nt make them.
4) KFC craving that reared its greedy fried chicken head during lecture was satisfied:))). Kudos to Debra for helping us search online for the nearest kfc around! Now that's one of the great uses of technology!

I hope Yueli aunt's art exhibition is going to be interesting later, and not just mundane small talk with adults. Shall catch up on sleep first.

I swear, I will really start studying from tomorrow, or rather today, onwards. But just for now, just for now let me enjoy a bit of my freedom. I watched two movies and I daresay, I do not in the least regret watching them instead of studying.

The Crow is really a cult film, to the truest sense of the word. Great gritty atmosphere, set in a dark dank city teeming with evil and urban decadence. The soundtrack must be one of the best around, with stone temple pilots and such. It was goth in all its glamour. Brandon Lee was excellent as the tortured dead rock star who came back to life to avenge his and his wife's tragic deaths. Quoting Edgar Allen Poe, playing his electric guitar on the rooftop amidst the decaying state of the city, lithe and quirky movements all combined to a hero that I would very much like to call my own. One gripe though, one painful gripe was the existence of Bai Ling in the movie. Honestly, just her mere appearance could downgrade a movie so much. Certain parts of the narrative was slightly disjunctive but hey, it's from a comic eh? Best quote "Victims, aren't we all?

The second film I watched is really one I want to rave about. Bram Stoker's Dracula (1992)! I really took pains to find this movie. First at esplanade library which only had the videotape version, and next videoezy which didn't have it at all! Thank god for a few lovely souls who posted it up on the net:). Anyway, the movie had an all stellar cast, with Gary Oldman, Winona Ryder and Anthony Hopkins. These few really made the movie shine as they sank into the roles, perfect accents and all. Oldman seems to be particularly apt at playing the tortured lover, Sid and Nancy anyone? Hopkins as usual, was up t his game with the quirky, intelligent Professor Van Helsing who added much humour (albeit a dark one), to the film.

One peeve, was the casting of Keanu Reeves as Jonathan Harker. For one, get rid of that surfer accent dude! I almost died when he said "It's that guy!", half expecting him to jump up and go COWABUNGA! HANG TEN DUDETTE! Hmph. Anyway, Coppola really owned with the cinematography. A sort of more old school film style (reminds me of Ed Wood), with a touch of theartrics. The eerie music, dry ice mists and howling "music" of the wolves really set the atmosphere. Everything, and I mean, EVERYTHING was set for that period, and it was classic horror without all that new technology gimmicks we have nowadays.

The narrative was very true to the book, and it definetly is the most sad, tragic and yet, most romantic storylines ever. Yes, I cried. And to give it extra credit, I usually don't cry in movies! I'm a tough one yo. So yah, I really want to bawl when Mina had to stab Dracul to end his suffering, and the camera panned to the mural on the ceiling of Dracul holding the dead mina. Tears flowed, too, when Dracul struggled with himself, as he tried to reject Mina's offer to join him in the eternal life, knowing how torturous it is. My heart positively melted when he met her again in London for the first time, "I have crossed oceans of time just to find you." I'm sorry for not recounting this in order as my mind doesn't realy seem to work chrnologically.

All in all, great two movies which are to be added to my favourites list:)))).
I want to watch movies for the rest of my life.

I finally had a day in which I did not completely waste at home. Ran some errands before meeting prawn to study at city hall starbucks. Went to esplanade library for a bit, as I wanted to borrow some films. But but but! All the films I wanted to borrow were in tape form! Who still has vcrs nowadays huh?!?! So we tried to study somemore, but all the attention span had been exhausted previously and we went to have dinner at kfc instead( KFC NIKKI! KFCEEEEE). I would like to say that oreo with strawberry cream is very nice. Not because the colour combination is my favourite one(even though it does gain some brownie points for being pink and black), but also because the flavours really went well! Why didn't nabisco (or kraft) ever come up with it? Everyone has heard of strawberry dipped in chocolate, so why did it take so long to invent such a flavour? The world works n strange ways.

I would like to just waste my days. Just sit in the open under the cool night sky. Clouds scampering and morphing above me, as if I was under an everchanging mural. The smoke from my cigarette slowly wafting up, I feel as if I'm part of the sky. Not a care for the world, not a worry about school, exams or my inadequacies. Just me, the wind and the nightsky.

Uncle Hans was on tv just now! It was quite interesting to see him being interviewed for Discovery Travel and Living since he's a scenic photographer and all, but also that I haven't seen him for so long I hardly recognized him. Imagine my surprise whenmy mum was like "Eh Uncle Hans!". Haha. But honestly, he's living my dream life. Travelling, doing what he loves, dabbling in all sort of businesses like hotels and publishing, and getting paid for it. Makes me fearful and a slight tinge of hope for my future.
Also, I find it very very odd how caucasians are immensely interested in Asian culture while we tend to strive for westernization. Strange way the world ticks huh.

Today started out as a really awful day.
1) I couldn't fall asleep until six am even though I went to bed at three. Plus I had a group meeting in the afternoon so I had to force myself to get up early!
2)The school replied my email stating that my Giro application was unsuccessful due to mismatch of signature and thumbprint. I really apppreciate their efficiency in informing the matter AFTER I asked them about it when they hounded me to pay up my tuition fees.
3)There's ANOTHER FUNERAL at my house, which makes it the THIRD ONE????
4)The guy standing in front of me at the busstop wore short short red shorts. And I really abhor men in short shorts. It's plain disgusting. Plus, he was a bulked up muscle dude with a beatles mop cut. Ew.
5) 162 refused to come so I had to take 54 and change bus, which made me even more late than ever.

However, the day got better as I found out Nard (I knw two leonards so that's how I differentiate them) was also late since he was lost around PS area, so I didn't feel that bad for being late. I saw him wondering around while I was on the bus, so I got down to guide him down the right path. LOL. Anyway, group meeting was good as we rewatched 15 and managed tot finish out power point presentation slides. Yay! Plus, we had this idea of doing it in a lucky draw style to facilitate participation. Dawn even suggested having a bell so that we could indicate it is question time! It's going to be very fun. We kept laughing nonstop, and tended to digress abit but we finished it which is good!

Dinner at raffles place plaza, a mini chippy picnic at the fountain. It was quite good to hear form Dawn that everyone feels very alienated in first year, but would learn to love uni once you pick the major you like. Went home with Nard who kept lamenting on my immense amount of free time which I just waste completely. Haha, I really should be studying for my exams but somehow, the fact hasnt struck me yet which is REALLY VERY BAD.

I find it very amazing how first impressions vary among different people! After euro history tutorial (the very last one! boo and yay and the same time for obvious reasons), yongxue, Heike and I slacked at the deck (Heik was skipping her lecture as usual). Alex popped by soon after. Anyway, we were talking about Maris gay boldy builders and stuff, until we reached the topic of what we thought of each other at the start. I had thought Heike was some hip hop loving bimbo chick that goes suntanning(ok, that was xinhui's idea but stlll!), while Alex had found her goth! Another curious enigma was that yx had the impression I was a biker chick while Alex thought I was a goody goody librarian type. Talk about contrast.

Anyhoo, I realy want to get ink so am pretty looking forward to it even though Im dead afraid of the pain!

It's old hallow's eve and I'm UP EARLY TO STUDY FOR MY HISTORY TEST TOMORROW. Talking about having a freaky day. Ugh, and most likely I would be up late at night cramming ten weeks worth of work instead of going trick or treating. I hate school work! It's ruining my college life!

Today has really been quite a good day for me! Firstly, IT WAS THE BLACK SABBATH WITH DIO HEAVEN AND HELL CONCERT!!! YEAH! Please forgive the poor quality of my photos, my camera phone is really awful. Anway, it was really quite good! The drum and guitar solos were insane and Dio still has his charisma. It didn't really help that we were constantly blocked by some towering guy or a gyrating headbanging woman ( i use woman as the crowd was relly quite old!), and with Dio's small frame I had to constantly crane my neck to catch him in action! Another peeve was this man dressed very nicely in a long sleeved shirt who just barged in front of us to take a photo. Like hello?? Firstly, who wears office clothes to a concert?? A rock concert at that! Plus, he didn't seem to be a fan of any sort, like the kind that just went to show his gf and buddies he's cool and tough. Hmph. But other then that, it was pretty great on the whole! The band seemed to have run out of steam cuz they only played for an hour plus. One encore (neon knights) was done, but that was it. Pretty disappointing as I was really hoping the set would last for 1.5 hours and the least!

Since it ended early, I met up with ky to watch the great spy experiment at timbre...which wasnt very good. Maybe it was in comparison to black sabbath, I don't know. I've never heard their stuff before anyway, ky's the big fan. Haha. Chan phop cakrii thii timbre kha! Haha, that's a last ditch attempt to practice my thai before the big oral test. Anyway, the gig ended in half an hour. So we hung around and decided to go to arab street for supper. Trudged all the way from fort canning to bugis. Ky ordered this salabah dessert which was immensely sweet and nutty! Very much like a turkish delight. One bite deemed it ambrosia, but eating the whole thing proved too much. Got stoned on blueberry mint shisha, and had my favourite iced mint tea! The Balagawa shake was nice too, but it's kinda like the cold version of the sabalah.

Anyhoo, I'm suffering from post gig adreneline and shisha headiness right now, so I'm pretty upbeat and happy :)))). I cant wait for xin to email me the vids she took!!!

Today has been a real day of revelation and discovery.

1) Dumbledore was revealed to be gay by J K Rowling. I kid you not. Apparently, he even had a little something something with that rival evil wizard friend of his (whose name I have clearly forgoten). check it out

2) While furiously sifting through newspaper articles for me to write my sociology term assignment on, I came across the article concluding the section 377A issue. And a familiar name. Victorians will know what I am talking about. The thing that disturbed be, wasn't the fact that his name appearing in the article, or him being interviewed by the press, but the fact there was the word "former" just beside his occupation. It disturbed me, it intrigued me. Being out of touch with school news ever since graduation, I had no inkling about this! I guess t doesn't help when my source of information (yes, you auntie meng!) is across the globe and I hardly can chat with her since I tend to do work at night (which is when she comes online). Anyhoo, the questions recurred in my mind again and again. Did he quit so he could solely concentrate on the project he had set up? Or was he fired due to the reasons we all should know, or could be a combination of both? Anyone with any info about this please tell me! I'm bursting to know even though I was never personally acquainted with him. It's a matter of indignation (or hopefully, a wrongly placed one), and not just of curiosity.

Se7en is really a great movie. I've always heard about it when people talk about cult movies, but never really understood the hype until now. The show was very film noir, with the killer set out to punish his victims according to the seven deadly sins. It's a pretty serious, gripping movie and the ending was especially torturing. You knew it was coming, yet you would think of the other possibilities. No doubt that you knew his wife would be attacked, yet you kept thinking maybe John Doe would attack them instead, or would there be other strangers. Who was to think, John Doe and Mills were the last victims. The murderer punishing himself for his sin of envy, and turns Mills to wrath. Brilliantly executed, wonderfully timed. SEVVY YOU HAVE TO WATCH IT OKAY.

Sometimes, just the littlest things in life can make me feel real in this world. Regular chats online, trips to the ice cream shoppe after school, all these make me forget about how mundane my life can be. Sure enough, I have one of the most boring life around. School, home, school ,home. Stay home on free days doing work or researching. But just these things, can make me remove the shackles of contempt for my robotic life, even just for a moment :).

I like boysen berries, peanut butter, graham crackers and cookie dough all mushed up together.
I think I shall stick to my exclusive little group thank you very much.
Making new friends and maintaining such relations can be tiring.

Vanilla beans in a new york cheesecake. So foreign yet a taste so familiar. The lemony freshness and classy french taste of the beans, such a pretencious attempt to be of a higher culture. The beans were plucked by Jack, who risked his neck to clumb up the giant beanstalk, only to reach a glass ceiling. So he took his hammer and just banged and banged the ceiling, but still was unable to penetrate through. In the end, the poor boy was so exhausted he just plucked a few vanilla beans along the way, telling himself it's okay, not everyone can get the magical beans to make the super cheesecake. Yet, deep down he knows that people do get them, and he is the one few to not achieve it. Thus, while starng at the vanilla beans, and eating his cheesecake, he wallows in sorrow.

Sushi with xin and kahyin today! We purposely dressed in our girly clothes so as to show our little transition from boyish secondary school retards to well, girlier varsity idiots. Hahah. Xin even purposely painted her nails a barbie pink with glitter! It was really fun having our sushi buffet, grabbing the cream puffs off the conveyor belt and watching xin make a monstrous sauce concoction of wasabi and soya sauce. Ugh.

Filming today was, rather interesting and boring all at the same time. Shopped after that with dear old mum and I bought a topman hoodie! The salesguy was really very nice, as the topshop value card was not allowed to be used in topman, so he went all the way up to topshop and helped me convert it to cash, then I used it to get the hoodie. I suppose its a very tedious process as it takes very long. I saw a guy ask another salesperson if he could use it and was turned down right away, so yah, he rocks bigtime! I checked his name in my receipt and specially mentioned him in the feedback form=).

Plain sunset at timbre was great! Well pretty, great. They only played one set and the last two songs sound pretty similar but overall, it was earcandy. Sat outside the cathay for awhile listening to my ipod with nehbear as usual before heading home. So tired so tired.
